You add your child's name and build their character: skin tone, hair color and style, eye color and shape, and eyelashes. Together with choosing boy or girl, every book has more than 3,200 combinations, so the hero on every page can look like your child. You see the character come together on screen as you choose, along with a preview of some of the book pages, so you know exactly what you're ordering before it goes to print.

Each book is printed especially for your child, so plan on 2 to 3 weeks from order to doorstep. Puzzles, coloring rolls and non-personalized books ship much faster.

Text us the date at +1 (786) 710-9526 before you order and we'll tell you straight away whether it's doable. If the book can't make it in time, a puzzle, coloring roll or one of our illustrated story books can be there in days.

They're written for toddlers and preschoolers, roughly ages 2 to 6. Younger kids love spotting themselves in the pictures; older ones follow the story and the lesson inside it (bravery, kindness, perseverance, friendship, depending on the theme).

Yes. All four themes are also available as illustrated soft-cover story books with the original characters, no personalization. They ship right away and are a lovely way to try a theme before ordering the personalized version.

Four so far: Mermaid Magic, Dinosaur Adventure, Driving Dream and Unicorn Fantasy. Every theme has a matching book, pop-up puzzle and coloring roll.

A jigsaw puzzle with 3D pieces that stand up out of the picture: dinosaurs rise from the ground, mermaids stand tall, cars lift off the track. Finished, it measures about 20 by 15 inches (52 × 38 cm). Kids as young as 3 can build it independently, and once it's up, the pop-up characters become a playset a six-year-old will invent stories with for hours.

Thirty feet long. Unroll as much or as little as you like, tape it to the floor or a wall, and let them go. It's a favorite for playdates, rainy days and long car trips, and it's great practice for fine motor skills.

Bundles put a theme's products together at a lower price than buying them one by one. Everything is made for young children and tested by the toughest critics we know: our own kids. Puzzle pieces are chunky and sturdy. As with any puzzle, we recommend adult supervision for children under 3.

We ship from Miami, Florida. Puzzles, coloring rolls and soft-cover books usually leave us within a few business days. Personalized books are printed to order and take 2 to 3 weeks (see above). You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your package is on its way.

US shipping is free on orders of $50 or more, and your cart shows how close you are. Smaller orders ship at standard rates, shown at checkout.

Use the Track Order page with your order number or tracking number. If tracking hasn't updated in a few days, text us and we'll chase it.

Yes, as long as the book hasn't gone to print. Text or email us as soon as possible with your order number and the change. Once printing has started, we can't alter the book.

You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. Items need to be unused and in their original packaging. Email carolina@crazylittlebooks.com to start, and we'll send you a return label with instructions. Please don't send anything back before hearing from us.

Because each one is printed for a specific child, personalized books can't be returned or exchanged. That's exactly why you get to see the character and a preview of the pages before you order. Sale items and gift cards are also final sale. If something is wrong with the book itself, though, we'll always make it right.

We're sorry. Please check your package when it arrives and message us right away with a photo of the issue. We'll sort out a replacement or refund quickly.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know it's approved and refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks can take a few extra days to post it. If it's been more than 15 business days, email us and we'll look into it.

The fastest way is to return the item you have and place a new order for the one you want, so the new one ships without waiting for the return to arrive.

After checkout you'll receive an email with a download link. Personalized prints are made to order, so we'll confirm your child's details first and then email the finished file. Check your spam folder if nothing shows up, and message us if you still can't find it.

Digital files can't be returned once delivered. If a file won't open or looks wrong, contact us and we'll fix it.

Absolutely. Enter the recipient's address at checkout and we'll ship straight to them, invoice left out. For a personalized book you'll need the child's name and a rough idea of their look (hair, eyes, skin tone), so it helps to be a little sneaky with the parents first. Want a gift note included? Add it in the order notes and we'll print it on a card inside the box.
