About our personalized books
Our personalized books turn your child into the hero of the story. You add their name and build a character that looks like them, choosing skin tone, hair color and style, eye color and shape. With more than 3,200 combinations in every book, the hero really looks like your child. As you choose, you see them appear on the pages, so you know exactly what you're getting before it goes to print.
Each book is a 34-page hardcover, printed one copy at a time in four worlds: Mermaid Magic, Dino Adventure, Driving Dream and Unicorn Fantasy. Every story carries a gentle lesson about kindness, bravery, friendship or perseverance. Prefer to start without personalization? Each world also comes as an illustrated soft-cover story book that ships right away.
How does the personalization work?+
Pick a world, type your child's name and build their character: skin tone, hair color and style, eye color and shape, and eyelashes. You'll see the character on a preview of the pages as you go, and nothing is printed until you check out.
Will the hero really look like my child?+
That's the idea. You choose skin tone, hair color and style, eye color and shape, eyelashes, and boy or girl. That's more than 3,200 combinations in every book, so most families find a hero that looks just like their little one, and their name appears throughout the story.
Can I change the name or look after ordering?+
Yes, as long as the book hasn't gone to print. Text or email us your order number and the change as soon as possible. Once printing starts, we can't alter the book.
Can I return a personalized book?+
Because each book is printed for one specific child, personalized books can't be returned or exchanged. That's why you see the preview before ordering. If anything is wrong with the book itself, we'll always make it right.
How long does shipping take?+
Puzzles, coloring rolls and soft-cover story books usually leave our Miami studio within a few business days. Personalized books are printed one at a time, so plan on 2 to 3 weeks from order to doorstep. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your package ships.
What ages are they for?+
Our books, puzzles and coloring rolls are made for toddlers and preschoolers, roughly ages 2 to 6. Younger kids love spotting themselves in the pictures, and older ones follow the story and the lesson inside it.
